Subsidence Consultant: AC52835

• Working from home in a desk base capacity you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of domestic and commercial subsidence claims, ensuring all service level agreements are consistently met.
• Assessing, validating, settling or declining claims within your delegated authority, always applying sound technical reasoning and insurance liability principles.
• Diagnosing structural defects and the causes of damage using information gathered by surveyors, suppliers and other specialists.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates will ideally possess a recognised professional building qualification (e.g., MICE, MRICS, MCIOB, MIStructE, MCABE) or active progression toward one, however relevant experience without the qualification would be also be considered.
• You will have strong technical knowledge of structural defects and subsidence-related issues.
• The ability to diagnose building damage remotely using supplied evidence.
• Experience within the insurance industry and a solid understanding of liability considerations.
