As a recruitment agency we are bound by both the Employment Agencies Act and the Data Protection Act of 2018 (GDPR) which supersedes all previous Data Protection Acts. With regard to data protection we must comply with the regulations therein which are designed to protect any information you provide for us. At all times we will comply with the provisions of the Act and any regulations or orders that are made under this Act.

DATA COLLECTION
This section explains what information Adjusting Appointments limited collects, and how it is used:
In order to assist you in the recruitment process we will essentially need a wide variety of information about you including personal details such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, an educational history and particulars about your professional working life. We will also collect information regarding contact that we make with you (or vice versa) throughout the recruitment process in order to efficiently and effectively assist you.
From time to time we may also contact you to gather information, with your consent, to gain feedback on the service we provide to you.
All the information you provide either via telephone call, email or through our website will only be used for the company’s stated business and will not be passed on or sold to any other third parties without your prior consultation and approval. Unless you contact us and express your wish to request the ‘right to be forgotten’ (please see below) your information will be retained for 5 years. If no meaningful contact has been made with you within this timeframe your details will be removed from our database. We will contact you to confirm that this action has been taken
If there are any changes to our privacy policy, either for business reasons or as a result of changes in legislation, these will be posted on this page. If we view the changes to be significant we may well choose to contact you directly to advise you of such changes. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Please contact us if you want to do so.
HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We will only process the data that you provide whereby it is necessary to assist you in the recruitment process or you have given your consent to do so. Such an example would be emailing a client (with your consent) with your details to apply for a relevant job opportunity.

- Job Boards, Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc) We use job boards and social platforms to assist in searching where appropriate but no specific personal/ identifiable information is shared.
- Upload anonymous job/candidate profile (as applicable) to the iauk.co.uk website to assist you in your search
OPTING OUT
You have the right to object to how your data is being processed. You also have the right to restrict the processing of your data or withdraw your consent completely.
You can opt out. To do so please contact [email protected] with your email and contact details and we will process this request (please note we do need to verify your identity to proceed).
YOUR INFORMATION
You have the right to know what information our company holds about you, correct and update your inaccurate or incomplete data records at any time, also you can request your data be made available/transferred to another organisation. THE RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN
You also have the ‘right to be forgotten’ and have your data erased from our systems.

COMPETITIONS
- Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom only
- Competitions are not open to employees of Adjusting Appointments Limited, or their families.
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over and a UK resident.
- To enter, entrants must provide; a.) their full name and b.) their valid email address along with c) their answer so that we are able to contact them in the event that their entry is chosen as a winner.
- Only entries received within the stated entry period will be considered. Any attempted entry other than as described in these Terms and Conditions is considered void. Entry must be made by one individual Entrant; no organisation/group entries.
- Winners will each be chosen at random from all the entries received within the competition period. The winning entrants will be notified via the email address they have provided.
- Once a winner is selected they will be contacted via their provided email address to confirm if they give consent to be named as the winner on the company social media and blog platforms.
- Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The company is not responsible for lost, corrupted or delayed entries. The company reserves the right to disqualify anyone who violates these Terms and Conditions.
- Your information will not be shared with outside companies for marketing purposes. Any information given as part of a competition (non-inclusive of announcing the winning name, with prior consent, on company blog and social media) will be destroyed after 1 calendar month, as long as the awarding of the prize has been fulfilled. Correspondence will only be sent in regard to the delivery of the competition prize – no marketing communications will be sent using information given (unless the individual has opted-in to receive marketing info).
- Entries that are found to contravene these terms and conditions shall be null and void. In the event that the entry of a winner being declared null and void, an alternative winner will be selected.
- Prizes are not transferable. No cash alternatives are available. The company reserves the right to substitute the prizes with prizes of equal or greater value. All prizes will be sent no later than 1 month after the winning entrant has provided delivery details providing the prize is available.
- The winning entrants are required to confirm acceptance of their prizes within 14 days of being contacted. In the event that a winner does not accept the prize within 14 days, or does not comply with these conditions, the company reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random.
- Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the company and accordingly the company may vary or amend the competition. Entrants agree that no liability shall attach to the company as a result thereof.
VOUCHER REFERAL SCHEME
For each referral we place in a *new position, you will receive £100 in Love2Shop gift vouchers as a Thank You, provided that they are not already registered with Adjusting Appointments Limited.
- This offer is restricted to applicants registered with Adjusting Appointments Limited and associated companies.
- This offer does not apply to recommendations who are already registered with Adjusting Appointments Limited.
*Recommendations, on completion of 3 months service, whom we successfully place in permanent employment will result in the introducing applicant receiving a £100 (1st successful referral), £200 (2nd successful referral) or £300 (3rd successful referral) voucher dependant on number of successful referrals made.
