Due to an increase in business and new clients coming on board a firm of Specialists in Disaster recovery and restoration who are part of a reputable Loss Adjusters are seeking to strengthen its team by appointing an experienced Claims Handler to join their busy team, where you will be offered hybrid or office-based working depending on your individual circumstances, free parking is available.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will handle cases from first point of contact for new cases to conclusion and invoicing.
  • You will communicate with customers and instruct clients over the telephone and in writing.
  • You will allocate contractors and manage building repair, restoration and other suppliers, proactively guiding claims through to settlement.
  • Responding effectively to technical queries, issues and complaints.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced in handling property insurance claims.
  • The ability to deal with insurers, policyholders, contractors and loss adjusters.
  • Enjoy working within a small team.
  • Computer literate with experience of using multiple systems.
  • Experience of handling complaints

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary up to £30,000 dependent on experience, there could be some flexibility
